Terms of Use

Last updated 7 July 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Dorays software. Please read them carefully — they apply whenever you sign up, log in, or use the Service.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Dorays Pathology Pvt. Ltd. ("Dorays", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the Dorays software, websites, mobile apps and related services (together, the "Service").

By completing a Dorays sign-up, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a laboratory or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

02Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that happens under your Dorays login.

  • Keep your password confidential and do not share your login credentials.
  • Use role-based access to give each team member only the permissions they need.
  • Tell us promptly at support@dorays.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

03Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful laboratory and diagnostic operations, and in compliance with all applicable healthcare, data-protection and records regulations.

  • Do not upload content you have no right to store or process.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to send unsolicited communications or malware.

04Free trial and subscriptions

Dorays may offer a free trial. At the end of the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles and included modules are described at sign-up and may be updated with reasonable notice.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and are non-refundable except where required by law.

05Your data and reports

You retain ownership of the patient records, test results and reports you enter into the Service ("Your Data"). You grant Dorays a limited licence to host and process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from patients and for the clinical accuracy of reports you approve and release.

06AI-assisted features

Dorays includes AI-assisted interpretation, flagging and reporting features. These are decision-support tools intended to assist qualified professionals — they do not replace clinical judgment. A qualified technician or pathologist remains responsible for verifying and approving every report before it is released.

07Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, and target high uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance and release updates, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dorays is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

09Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached. On termination you can request an export of Your Data for a limited period, after which it may be deleted in line with our retention practices.

10Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
